Not bad for 75$ shipped. Stayed at Terry’s house to do some recording and editing. I played some Greensleeves in this recording so you can see how it sounds. I know there is some buzzing in the frets but I am going to take it into a local guitar tech (http://www.wagnerguitar.com) to get it fully set up Wednesday.
It has been 5 days, of waking up at 6:30 a.m. That is about 3 hours every morning of peace and quiet. Having no outside distractions, doing my pregame prep for the day. But that’s only 3 hours? What does that mean… Well this is only the first step of many I need to take.
This morning after taking a shower I went to unplug the heater by the cord in the bathroom and the wire pretty much exploded with sparks (Just like movies depict). I survived the explosion, but the heater didn’t. Now I have to figure out a way to have a warm bathroom for my early morning showers.
When I woke up my inbox had a message from music123. It was my guitar.. It shipped at 1 a.m. So I was pretty much excited and got into the music mood this morning, went over some musical theory to get my mind back on track. I also started learning something I always neglected, the fretboard. I never really got into knowing the notes, where they were at. I mean I know a few scales but if I wanted to play in a key I always had to ask or look it up. So I am looking forward to having that in my music skill set.

I just got a really good deal on a Jasmine by Takamine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar at http://www.music123.com. I needed a new acoustic really bad, the guitars that I have been playing are old, worn down and loose their tune. Pretty much the hand me down learning guitars. So I am excited that I will have a guitar that doesn’t have a cracked saddle or bent up tuning knobs. That’s all I really wanted to post tonight, I’ll put up a picture once I get it, hopefully it is worth the money.
From the Official Google Blog: A new approach to China:
“These attacks and the surveillance they have uncovered—combined with the attempts over the past year to further limit free speech on the web—have led us to conclude that we should review the feasibility of our business operations in China. We have decided we are no longer willing to continue censoring our results on Google.cn, and so over the next few weeks we will be discussing with the Chinese government the basis on which we could operate an unfiltered search engine within the law, if at all. We recognize that this may well mean having to shut down Google.cn, and potentially our offices in China.”Emphasis mine.
Google standing up to the Chinese government! Immensely commendable.

I feel really productive this morning! Its crazy to think about in the 3 hours extra sleep I would have gotten. I was able to accomplish so much ( I am a morning person!!!)! I was able to actually eat a decent breakfast ( this is something I never get to do ), Read a chapter of a book ( I never have time for this ), Read up on my favorite news sites, Post on my social media sites, catch up on some forms, take my morning shower and compile my pregame plan of the day. I wish I could always be this productive!
I was reminded of a valuable lesson today, now I try to stay open minded and go into any kind of relationship (either business or personal) trusting someone, but you always have to remember that in any relationship if you seem weak or uneducated there is a chance that you will be taken advantage of in some way or another. This is where you decide what you can get from the relationship and weigh it with what you are loosing, and ask yourself questions like. Is it worth my time? What kind of experience can I get out of this situation? As I said before I trust everyone I meet but once my trust is broken it is really hard to get it back. One of those standard “Things are not always what they seem” type of lessons.
I finally did it! I got out of bed a few hours before work. First step of breaking my bad habit of sleeping in until I have to leave. I found throughout my life that I am more productive in the quite morning hours than any other time in the day. The solitude of morning life allows me to think clearly and focus better on projects at hand.
